Here at Skin and Beauty Training, we are in the business of changing lives. Now that may seem a little dramatic, however it is truly what we believe in. We believe in empowering our students to challenge themselves, to keep learning and to have the confidence to do what they have always been dreaming of i.e. start their own business, start a new career, or sometimes it’s as simple as keeping their skills fresh and up to date to regain confidence. We don’t take this responsibility lightly, which is why surrounding ourselves with a team we are proud of and inspired by was so important to us.

Meet Maree - Beauty knowledge extraordinaire and all round training enthusiast!

How long have you been working in the industry?

I completed my study in 2009 and have been working in the beauty industry ever since. I worked as a senior therapist for 2 years and have been training in the industry for 10 years 📚

What do you love the most about being a trainer? 

I get great job satisfaction by helping my students excel in their chosen careers. We are in the business of confidence and supporting clients to showcase their natural beauty (sometimes with a little assistance). I find my role as a trainer is to empower my students in both skill set and knowledge to perform confident in-salon treatments 🥰

What is your favourite treatment at the moment and why? 

My favourite treatment is Skin Needling with the Dermal Pen device. I love the versatility of the results I can achieve with this treatment depending on my concerns at the time 💆

What is the one skin care product you can't live without? 

I love my ASI Vitamin B3 Serum! I believe this ingredient is highly underrated and should be a staple in every daily routine. It helps keep my skin clearer, brighter and hydrated ✨

If you could have a superhero power, what would it be and why? 

I think it would be great to have the ability to teleport. I'm not a huge fan of flying or driving long distances and I feel on most days I am very time poor. Having the ability to get from one place to the next without time being affected would be really helpful! 🦸
